In December, teachers and staff working in room 212 at Maplewood Intermediate School decided to come in for pajama day, all wearing matching PJ’s.  It was such a hit on the second floor that others asked to join in and planned on doing it again for VALENTINE’S DAY.

“How terrific when we found out it would also be a fun way to enhance our EMOJI- PARP reading theme…. “How Does Reading Make You Feel,” said teacher Tonya Lourenco. “The impact has been so well received, that we would like to have one more pajama day before the end of the school year.  It is our hope that everyone in our Maplewood building may want to participate in celebrating ‘SUMMER FUN’!  However, too early to think of that right now, we first need the snow to melt!”
