After much brainstorming, the Countrywood students came up with many characteristics, from being determined, fair, and organized to being someone who would work for peace, be a problem solver, and take care of the Earth.

After reading, I Can Be President Too! by Yanitzia Canetti, the students in Mrs. Nicolino and Mrs. Sullivan's second-grade class began to think about what makes a great president. After much brainstorming, the students came up with many characteristics, from being determined, fair, and organized, to being someone who would work for peace, be a problem solver, and take care of the Earth. They decided that even as children they all had different things to offer and could all make a difference if they could be president too!
