In early December, Barnes & Noble played host to our incredibly successful South Huntington Family night. Hundreds of students, teachers, parents, administrators, and staff of all ages enjoyed a special evening of fun including music, holiday crafts, and favorite stories read by many of our special guests including New York Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci, Huntington Councilwoman Tracy Edwards and BOE members Lisa Brieff and Nicholas Ciappetta.

The Barnes & Noble management rolled out the red carpet for our Wildcat family and gave a 20% donation to the district on all purchases made that evening. This was really a perfect time to spend an evening out with the family, get a head start on that holiday shopping, enjoy some music, participate in seasonal crafts, and listen to hometown celebrities share cherished holiday stories.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time for this wonderful holiday event and to our local school community for coming out in force, showcasing the incredible pride residing here in South Huntington.
