Students in Mrs. Lamorte's Kindergarten class at Countrywood got to partner with kindergarten students at Herman Avenue Elementary School in Auburn, NY, through an interactive Brown Bear, Brown Bear video collaboration project.

Mrs. Lamorte's students were paired up with their new upstate friends they compared what they saw and experienced within their own local communities and created personalized posters.

The book, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?, was used as the model for what each student saw in his/her own community. Also, each student in Mrs. Lamorte's class created a puppet of his or her favorite animal in the story and shared it with their partner class in Auburn, NY!
