At Countrywood Primary Center, Ms. Workman’s first-graders invited their parents to a great Thanksgiving celebration.  The children entertained their parents by singing songs like “Wake Up Little Turkey,” “Five Fat Turkeys, and “There are Many Things I Am Thankful For” led by music teacher Mr. Slawitsky. Ms. Workman, herself an accomplished flute player, added a nice accompaniment to Mr. Slawitsky’s piano.  With their tom-tom drums and recorders, the students had a great time playing their instruments.  Following the performance, each student stood up and told his/her parents what they were thankful for. What a great event to get everyone in the spirit of Thanksgiving.

Congratulations to our talented first-graders in Ms. Workman’s class: Hannah Andre, Madeline Bush, Dakota Cannon, Ayla Derin, Alexa Draser, Alexa Gaitan, Stella Glazer, Abigail Liclican, Milan Montour, Krisha Patel, Alicea Rekha, Lily Sarno, Marion Scala, Andrea Teixeira, Giovanni Aguilar, Ethan Andersen, Michael Barton, Wilmer Benitez Flores, Jonathan Gonzalez Rosa, Elijah Imhof, Brandon Jessup, John Padovan, Muqbil Quorishi, Ayden Reaves, and Patrick Welch.
