The Long Island Advocacy Center 2016 Education Law Conference was held at Touro College on Friday, November 4, 2016. This conference is designed for parents, students, educators, advocates, attorneys, youth, and human service professionals.‚Äč The purpose is to provide strategies that can be used by parents and professionals to increase students' success and reduce truancy, school failure, suspension and referrals to the juvenile justice system.

Dr. Matthew Krivoshey and David Perkins worked together and presented an informative workshop titled, "Responding to Student Needs: Understanding the Issues Students Face in our Changing Society."  The outstanding feedback from their presentation confirms again that South Huntington has a talented team creating a special place for all students. Congratulations Dr. Krivoshey and Mr. Perkins!
