The spirit of giving is alive and well at Walt Whitman High School.  The Senior Class Blood Drive that took place on Friday brought together over 160 students to work together as captains and donors to collect 111 pints of blood.  Each pint collected by New York Blood is estimated to reach three patients here on Long Island.  It was a great day of giving and all of our staff and students had fun!

The following senior class officers worked very hard to make this drive a success: Kamilan Achar, Alivia Barton, Unique Butts, Flor Canales, Serah Carbon, Catherine Costantino, Fawenjie Darius, Gianna DellaVedova, Emily Dickson, Luidji Dormeus, Hanna Fink, Christie Franz, Antonella Giammichele, Abdjine Lemaitre, Jillian Leydon, Brett Maier, Kevin Vasquez Martinez, Casey McKenna, Payal Multani, Gabrielle Nardelli, Danielle O’Donnell, Meagan O’Donnell, Katya Osorto, Brooke Pagano, James Reilly, Julio Rivas, Angela Rodrigues-Olivia, Samantha Ruotolo, Elycia Salcedo, Faiza Tariq, Paige Tortorice, Geysel Ramos Vasquez, and Ally Wirth.
