Countrywood first-graders in The Schwartz Class Community met some new friends in Michigan!  As part of Collaborations Around the Planet, the students researched information about an animal and created clues about it to share with their partner class during a 30-minute video chat.  Clues included habitat, what the animal eats, how the animal moves, and description of their appearance.  They kept the animal a secret from their partner class and used the clues given to determine what the animal was! What a great learning experience combining language arts, science, and technology and learning about the differences and similarities between Long Island and Warren, Michigan!
