As many of you are aware, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Many of us on Long Island and in the South Huntington community have had a loved one affected by this disease.  To honor those lives impacted and to support research, all Stimson students and staff wore pink on Friday, October 14th.  Each staff member made a donation of five dollars or more, and students were encouraged to donate one dollar. We are proud to announce that as a building we raised over one thousand dollars that will be donated to “Stand Up for Suzanne,” a fundraising group set up to honor Suzanne Shea, a South Huntington mom.  They have joined with Cold Spring Harbor Lab, a leader in Breast Cancer Research.  Great job Stimson!!!
