Last week at Countrywood Primary Center the Dual Language Kindergarten students in Ms. Miemis' and Ms. Rodriguez's classes learned about fire safety.  FDNY firefighter Chris Riordan visited the classes to talk to the children about fire safety and emergency procedures.  The students were able to see the equipment up close and ask questions about a firefighter's job.  Everyone was excited and went home with Junior Firefighter hats.  It was a great way to close out fire safety week.   Thanks to the brave men and women who save lives everyday.
