Walt Whitman’s International Thespian Society attended an Adelphi Arts Conference last Friday. Our students spent the day and ignited their creativity as they delved into intensive hands-on workshops in dance, music and theatre. The event also featured keynote speaker Adam Pascal who is best known for creating the role of Roger in the legendary musical Rent (reprising his Tony nominated role in the film).

This exceptional learning experience is sure to broaden our thespians base as they prepare for the annual Mainstage Drama Production of The Curious Savage set to open at Whitman’s Performing Arts Center on Friday November 4, 2016.

Students in attendance at the Adelphi Arts Conference: Heather Aadal, Ife Balogun, Marco Chiriboga, Kathleen Clark, Lauren Giglio, Sam Hoffman, Liora Hyman, Shealyn Naughton, Taninna Oukacine, Leila Ozkiral, Sam Ruotolo, Keara Shea, and Max Morris.
