Oakwood Principal Eileen Kerrigan has some great news to share about her standout second-grader Preston Park.  On October 1, Preston won the 2016 United States Taekwondo Festival & Open Championship held in Essex, Maryland.

Preston won 1st Place in Olympic style sparring taekwondo and 1st Place in Poomsae (Form).  The United States Olympic Committee currently ranks Preston #3 in the Nation in the Dragon Division. He has also won two gold medals at the 2016 Truescore East Coast States Championship held in Woodbridge, New Jersey in September and has qualified for the National championship for Truescore.

Way to go Preston! We're looking forward to hearing more about your success in Taekwondo.
