Kindergarteners in Miss Miemis' class at Countrywood have been curious scientists this past week.  Using apples as their test subjects, our youngest students first learned that apples float and identified all the many colors apples come in.  Then they decided to test apple pieces in oil, vinegar, water and air to see which one preserves them the best.  They had fun making predictions about which apple would turn brown the fastest.  Everyone loved the experiment.
