Whitman student Christina Bogdani just completed an intensive 8-week summer research program at Feinstein Institute located at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.  Christina is interested in pursuing a career in the medical field and came away from her internship convinced that she’s on the right track. “I shadowed a neurosurgeon this summer by the name of Dr. John A. Boockvar,” said Christina. “Most of my experience was oriented towards studying the brain.”

“I gained so much knowledge in neurology and I met some amazing people,” said our rising senior. “I learned endless amounts of new things in every aspect of the medical field, and I plan on joining Dr. Boockvar and his team again next summer.”

Way to Go Christina!
