Congratulations to the Stimson Music Department and their strong stowing at recent festivals. At the Long Island Music Festival, held on June 3rd, the 8th grade Chorus came back with a ‘Superior’ rated performance and spent the rest of the day at Adventureland celebrating the great News. Congratulations to the students and to Ms. Terri Haas.

In additional music news...South Huntington hosted the 2016 NYSSMA Festival at Walt Whitman High School on Tuesday, June 7th. Beautiful music was performed by the South Huntington, Elwood and Half-Hollow Hills School Districts.  BRAVO to all the participating students and their music directors for their outstanding musical performances!  The following recognitions were awarded to our South Huntington students, and are testimony to the hard work and dedication exhibited throughout the year:
