Over the course of the last month, Silas Wood students sold raffles and popcorn in the cafeteria to raise money so that they could buy coloring books, word search books, crayons, socks, lotion, and home made glass cases courtesy of Jessica Aragones and our Family and Consumer Science students.  Silas Wood’s student council made beautiful cards and filled gift bags for the residents of Apex.  Recently students visited Apex after school where they had the opportunity to meet and talk with the residents and give them their homemade gift bags.  “It was such a powerful experience for all of us and I am so proud of our students,” said Principal Steve Toto  “They were all respectful, compassionate, and kind and represented Silas perfectly. These are the moments we cherish and serve as a powerful reminder of how important life is.”

Way To Go Silas Wood!
