Congratulations to our Maplewood Family on their weekend Met Game appearance this past Sunday. Our Maplewood community took to the stadium with 1,300 strong, as proud students illuminated the field with their rendition of the National Anthem. We also had the opportunity to watch Dr. D’Elia relive the high school glory days by throwing out the first ball at Sunday’s game. There was really an amazing feeling in the air as students, parents, and staff demonstrated the community spirit and family atmosphere that makes our district shine.

“I would like to congratulate all the students who participated in the singing of the National Anthem at Sunday’s New York Mets game,” said Dr. D’Elia.  “This was the largest coordinated school event in Citi Field’s history and we look forward to continuing our partnership with the Mets next year.”
