Huntington Town Council Members honored our Walt Whitman High School St. Baldrick’s effort at a recent meeting. Accepting the award was Ralph Miranda and Jaime Rogers, both teachers at Whitman. Mr. Rogers and his robotics club has spearheaded this campaign to raise funds for Pediatric Cancer Research and the South Huntington community has raised over $150,000 over the past nine years. Joining Mr. Rogers, and Mr. Miranda at Town Hall were Principal Murphy, Ms. Colleen Grady and the following students: Jeremy Bombace, Casey O'Riodrian Emma Kongevold, Brandon O'Rouke, Joseph Kaye, Christie Franz, Meg Guzman, and Michael Morra.
