Our Silas/Stimson Theater Company’s production of “Beauty and the Beast” is in the books and the talented cast and crew, skillfully mentored by director Adam Slawitsky, brought this Disney classic to life on the Stimson stage this past weekend.

In a tale as old as time, our students performed with incredible talent. This was the second year of our middle school theater production and Beauty and the Beast was a clear indicator that this highly successful program is as popular as ever and growing.

“The Arts truly play a critical role in the development of our students and the positive culture of our district,” said Principal Smith and Principal Toto in their welcome remarks. “When a school performs a play, something magical happens.  New friendships are formed, soft spoken students find a voice, many become one, and most importantly, hard work and dedication are recognized.”

“You have all worked very hard over the past 3 months,” said Mr. Slawitsky and Ms. Winkoff in their director’s notes. “Congratulations on a job well done!  We could not be more proud to work with such a hard working team.”
