Senior soccer star Michael Lorello has signed his National Letter of Intent to play for Marist College. Michael was an All-State, Newsday All-Long Island, MSG Varsity All-Long Island, All-Region, All-County, and All-Conference player who was instrumental in leading his Wildcat teammates to their first ever State Championship.

Whitman Varsity coach John DiGiacomo spoke highly of his standout senior:  “Michael is an unbelievable young man who is destined for greatness on and off the field,” said DiGiacomo. “Marist is extremely lucky to have him as a student and an athlete.” Varsity soccer coach Brian Karcz was equally complimentary:  “Michael is a natural leader and a complete player. I couldn't think of anyone better to represent my alma mater of Marist,” said Karcz.  “I know that the Red Foxes are in good hands in the future. I can't wait to see it.”

Congratulations Michael Lorello!
