Newsday photographer Joseph D. Sullivan perfectly captured Whitman senior Alexandra Greaves as she won the 55m Dash ahead of Connetquot's Bryana Padua and North Babylon's Taylor Fugueroa during the girls large school championships held at Suffolk County Community College on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016. Alexandra ran a blistering 7.28 seconds to capture the County championship. “She's a wonderful student of the sport who wants to continue to improve,” said Varsity Track Coach Rufus Shepard.  “As a senior, Alex has embraced her responsibility of team captain and mentor for younger athletes on the team.  She's a great role model for all of South Huntington and Coach Savage and I are extremely proud of her.” Congratulations to Suffolk’s fastest - Alexandra Greaves.
