Walt Whitman High School art students, Sophia Marcoccia and Jesse Morra have several of their photographs on display at Suffolk Community College in the 8th Annual High School Art competition. Their work is currently displayed at Gallery West in Captree Commons at the Michael J. Grant Campus in Brentwood.  At an opening reception on Thursday, December 10th, Sophia, Jesse, their families, art teacher Ms. Gina Tinucci, and Superintendent Dave Bennardo were on hand to wish the girls well. The Department of Arts and Humanities at Suffolk County Community College in Brentwood sponsors this annual competition.
