Thank You Stimson School Community – from the Long Island Blue Star Moms Chapter NY6. “One of the exciting parts of the recent Penny Wars competition was the collection of over 4,029 military items,” said Stimson Assistant Principal Anthony Sansotta, who has run the mega Penny Wars Challenge each year.  “These items will be shipped to our service men and women who are stationed overseas.” Stimson special education teacher Mr. James O’Brien helps with the Military donation, “The Blue Star Moms find out what our troops need that they can’t get where they are deployed. These items are specifically requested and they get them to the soldiers directly.”

“We want to thank Stimson for their generous donation,” said Ms. Joanie Terciak, NY6 Chapter President for the Blue Star Moms.  “This donation will go directly to Long Island resident service men and women who are serving overseas. These are all local family members in all branches of the Armed Services.”

Way To Go Stimson!
