Wildcat Marching Band Leads the Way

The sixth annual Huntington Awareness Day parade and street fair, a celebration of “unity in the community” in Huntington Station stepped off promptly at 11AM on Saturday, September 12th. “Special thanks to our award-winning Wildcat Marching Band for providing outstanding entertainment in Huntington's Unity Awareness Day Parade,” said Schools Superintendent Dr. Dave Bennardo in his weekly newsletter. “As usual, our talented performers and the directors ‘stole the show’ and represented South Huntington with characteristic class and dignity.” The Marching Band just returned from a big competition in Brick, New Jersey this past weekend where they won a Silver Trophy for their outstanding performance.
