Walt Whitman graduate Kelley Rauseo, class of 2005, is the new face of the New York City Marathon for 2015.  A photo of Kelley crossing the finish line is on the cover of the New York City Marathon Magazine and her face is on billboards throughout the city advertising the November 1, 2015 event. We caught up with Kelley and learned that after playing Soccer, Lacrosse, and running Cross Country at Whitman, she hasn’t slowed down a bit.

“I attended college at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend and majored in Economics,” said Kelley.  “I have been working in finance at Morgan Stanley in Manhattan ever since. At Morgan, I also serve as the Charity and Volunteer Committee Chair for our division.  I am an active member of the New York Road Runners and NYPD Running Club. I ran the 2014 NYC on behalf of the NYPD and completed the (very windy and cold) course in a time of 3:31:24. I felt honored and excited to be on the same course as some of the running greats: Meb Keflezighi, Desiree Linden and Kara Goucher.”

Congratulations Kelley Rauseo, you make Walt Whitman High School and South Huntington proud!
