In December, Walt Whitman Spanish teacher Aileen D’Addario and some of her students made a special trip back to primary school. The Whitman students had written Spanish fables and wanted to share them with Oakwood Primary’s Dual Language classes.

The primary students were very excited to meet their grownup visitors and they were not disappointed. Not only did the students write wonderful stories, they also created follow-up activities on their I-pads. The fables were whimsical and very well presented. Everyone had a wonderful time!
