This year, Countrywood Physical Education classes participated in the First Annual Banker Ball Holiday Tournament.  Throughout the month of December, the first and second grade classes perfected their throwing and catching skills, as they learned rules and strategies for the fun and competitive game of Banker Ball.  The Holiday Tournament was an exciting way for students to showcase their skills and talents, while earning as many points as they could for their teams.  Students were eager to see their teams’ statistics posted on the bulletin board, and all teams were proud of their accomplishments.

The festive atmosphere emphasized the importance of enjoying the thrill of competition and participating in an organized team event.  Countrywood P.E. teachers Mrs. Carron, Mrs. Reichert-Emprimo, and Ms. Vogelsang were very impressed with the students’ skill development and pleased to see how happy they were to play in the tournament.
