We hear that Ms. Hickey’s and Ms. Cryer’s 6th-grade art students at Silas Wood created more than 200-place mats for a holiday dinner on December 25th, at the INN. Students used festive images that will surely brighten up the event and help to make this dinner very special and festive.

The INN (Interfaith Nutrition Network) is a Long Island charity with a mission of providing, in a respectful manner, emergency food and shelter to children, adults and families in need. The INN's volunteers and staff operate soup kitchens and shelters in over 40 communities throughout Nassau and Suffolk. Since its founding in 1983, The INN has served over ten-million hot nutritious meals and provided shelter to over 200,000 Long Islanders.
