The Boys Varsity and Junior Varsity Volleyball teams held their annual senior night celebration on Wednesday evening, October 29th.  This special night is when our boy’s volleyball teams honor the men and women of our Armed Services by dedicating their last home game as a fundraiser for the Wounded Warrior Project.

The teams were able to raise over $450 to donate to the Wounded Warrior Project.  Varsity coach Mike Patto and JV coach Erica Russ and their volleyball teams would like to thank the supportive community for making this possible.

Walt Whitman varsity won 3-2 against Half Hollow Hills. The set scores were 21-25, 17-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25-20. Tariq Soliman had 29 kills, 8 digs, 8 aces, and 1 block. Joe Di Piero had 8 kills, 8 digs, 1 aces, and 1 block.

Congratulations on a terrific season.
