The Boys Varsity Soccer Team improved their record to 7-2 overall and 5-2 in League II play with a gutsy win over Central Islip Friday by the score of 1-0. Sean Zagorski headed in his 3rd goal of the season off a free kick from Michael Lorello in the 31st minute. That proved to be enough as Austin Salas made 5 saves to preserve the shutout. The Wildcats have won 5 games in a row and have moved into a tie of first place in League II.

The Wildcats look to avenge their early loss against Northport on Monday at home at 4:45pm. Please come out and support the team.

The Boys Varsity Soccer Team kept rolling to their fourth straight win with a 3-0 shutout of Bay Shore yesterday. Albert Martinez converted a through ball from Witman Hernandez to open the scoring early in the first half. Witman added an unassisted goal 12 minutes into the 2nd half and closed the scoring a few minutes later off a breakaway with Albert getting the assist.

The Wildcats played stellar defense once again while Austin Salas and Shane Sacks combined to give the team their second straight shutout. With the win, the team improves their record to 6-2 overall and 4-2 in League II play.

The Wildcats will play an away game* in a League II showdown tomorrow against first-place Central Islip.

*10/2 Home Football Game has been rescheduled for 2:30PM, Friday 10/3 on Whitman's turf field.
