As reported by Newsday: Jaron Batts caught a pass from Parrish Respass on a crossing pattern and ran down the sideline for a 70-yard touchdown to give Whitman a 15-0 lead over Central Islip with 1:15 left in the first half. Batts had six catches for 161 yards. Tyrese Betts ran for 113 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries, including a 47-yard TD off tackle. Don Boneventure blocked a punt into the end zone for a safety to put Whitman ahead 8-0 in the second quarter. Gerald Riley has 41 rushing yards on six carries, 40 receiving yards on three catches and made two interceptions. Joe Ward had 10 tackles. Wildcats notch their first win of the season 21-0 in Suffolk’s Division I.
