The Varsity Field Hockey team has started their season with a strong non-league win against West Babylon.  With a final score of 4-0, junior goalie Kayla Neiland has recorded her first Varsity shut-out.  Senior Christina McFelia scored a hat trick and senior Emma Manson put the 4th ball in the net with assists from senior Shayna Pehel (2), junior Kelly Baumann (1), and junior Christina LoFaso (1). Offensive support from junior Amanda Glaser and junior Kerry Conlon helped keep the pressure on West Babylon's defense.  The Wildcats put on an impressive defensive performance led by seniors Rebecca Sansotta, Kate Manson and Paige Gladstone who limited the number of West Babylon shots to only 3.  The Wildcats first league game is on Tuesday, September 9 at home against cross-town rival Half Hollow Hills.  Come out and cheer the team on!
