Senior Liam Brennan (7) got extra heavy coverage, and it’s no wonder, as Liam closed out his season as Long Islands top point maker for public schools with 105. Liam set a personal best with 10 points in each of the Deer Park and Brentwood contests.

Not sure what it is about playing at Smithtown West, it sure isn’t Wildcat friendly. The Boy’s varsity Lacrosse playoff run came to a resounding halt on Wednesday evening as the Wildcats went up against the nations #3 ranked, and clearly Long Island’s best varsity lacrosse team. They were big and they were that good, in fact, all 10 starters from Smithtown West have secured Division 1 scholarships, and 3 were just named as All-Americans. That said, the Wildcats kept up the fight right to the end, taking it to the Bulls at every opportunity in the Suffolk Division 1 quarterfinal, before time ran out with the score 15-5.  Scoring for Whitman: Liam Brennan- two goals; Matt Stockfeder- one goal and one assist; Jaron Batts- one goal and one assist; Patric Harrington- one assist; and Scott Manning- one assist.
