We hear from Stephanie Murphy, Stimson Middle School French teacher, that Stimson’s French students recently competed the National French Exams and once again did a great job at this annual competition sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French. Students of French in all 50 states and abroad take a written test and compete against students with similar educational background for prizes. Stimson had an excellent showing including 3 National Winners!

Out of 93,718 who took the test Stimson had 3 National Winners from 8th Grade:

Brenda Mendez ranked #1 in Nation and #1 in Suffolk Perfect Score on the test!

Nadia Lubrano ranked #9 in Nation and #4 in Suffolk

Tyler Malone ranked #10 in Nation and #5 in Suffolk

Aamash Mussa ranked #7 in Suffolk

Stacey Auguste ranked # 9 in Suffolk

Correy Pearlman ranked #10 in Suffolk

 

For 7th Grade there were no top 10 National Winners, but we took over the Suffolk County Rankings
