Senior players on the Walt Whitman Boy’s Lacrosse team enjoyed a sun-drenched afternoon to celebrate a 12-1 win over Longwood this past Saturday.  The scoring was spread around with Liam Brennan- 1 goal and 5 assists; Scott Manning- 3 goals and 1 assist; Patric Harrington- 3 goals and 2 assists; Jay Palazzolo- 2 goals; Matt Stockfeder- 1 goal and 1 assist; Jaron Batts- 1 goal and 1 assist; and Eddie Krakehl- 1 goal.

Prior to the 2PM start, a short recognition ceremony was held at midfield to acknowledge the team’s seniors. Congratulations to the following seniors and their families: Liam Brennan, Salvatore Esposito, Anthony Gervasio, Patric Harrington, Alexander Keane, Edmund Krakehl, Keith Morrissey, John Palazzolo, Adam Sandler, Ryan Wolff, and Saraat Zafar.

Whitman senior Liam Brennan is still on top of the leader board as the #1 points scorer in Suffolk County with 86. And it would be hard to have all the data from each game if it weren’t for two senior students who are the team’s statisticians. Thank you Casey Mayer and Meghan Polk.
