Whitman senior Liam Brennan has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Lacrosse at Pace University in Pleasantville, NY.  Pace’s Head Men's Lacrosse Coach Tom Mariano and his “Setters” compete as a member of the Northeast-10 Conference in NCAA Division II. Liam is an outstanding attackman having posted 25 goals and 20 assists totaling 45 points last season. His motivation, dedication, and commitment as a team player and leader will set him nicely on the right road at Pace.

“Liam’s tenacity and never quit attitude has earned him the respect of his teammates and coaches,” said Whitman Varsity Head Coach Robert Howell. “He always leads by example and constantly provides encouragement to his teammates.” It’s not surprising that Liam is the recipient of the 2013 Francis McCall Un-Sung Hero Award. Coach Howell and the Whitman lacrosse community are expecting great things from him this coming season. Whitman’s varsity team begins their season on March 26, when they hit the road against Bay Shore.

Congratulations to Liam, his family, and Pace University, they’re getting a true leader!
