Walt Whitman graduate Patrick Dillon (class of 2000) appeared on a special teachers edition of Jeopardy last Tuesday evening and walked away from the first round $26,702 richer. The special 2-week tournament features teachers from kindergarten through 12th grade from around North America, all competing for $100,000 grand prize and a berth in the next Tournament of Champions.

Patrick, who actually doesn't walk away with is winnings as long as he keeps winning, now moves into the second-round tournament appearance that will be aired on Tuesday evening, November 19th, at 7PM.

Congratulations Patrick, the entire South Huntington community is rooting for you!
