Maplewood’s third grade classes received visits from Principal D’Elia and Assistant Principal Bruno as the new school year began. The students added upon what they had learned already in their Primary Center with age appropriate lessons on ‘How to Avoid Bullying Issues’ our ‘School’s Bus Behavior Expectations’ and ‘Making Good Choices: SRR, A few Rules for Success.’ Principal D’Elia talked with his new students about being Safe-Responsible-Respectful. “We want you to remember to treat students and adults with care, kindness, and courtesy,” said D’Elia. “Setting a positive example for other students by being responsible and demonstrating safe behavior is what we expect from you.”
