At Stimson’s 8th Grade Awards, one of the more sought-after honors is The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good Citizen Award. This award is given to outstanding students across the nation and is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship. The student selected as a school’s DAR Good Citizen must have the qualities of dependability, service, and patriotism to an outstanding degree.  The recipients of this award are exceptional social studies students who have risen to the top of their classes both academically and morally.

Congratulations to this year’s winners: Karthikeyan Mayilvahanan and Kassidy Dunn.
