Overview: In this activity students will blend and read rhyming words. They will also use their typing skills to write the words in the correct shape. .

Lesson Sequence:

1) Using the overhead monitor class will review words that rhyme. Words ending in  _itch, _atch, and  _ etch.

2) Read all the words in the cloud. What do the all have in common? (tch) What makes them different? (vowel)  Read the title to each shape.
 

3) Read the directions, Type the rhyming words from above to complete each box. Review how to double click in the shape in order to write in it.

4) Complete the first one as a class. Activity may be use as an independent activity.
