Overview:   In this activity the students will read sentences and identify the possessive noun. They will then read the questions and type the answers in the red circles.
 

Lesson Sequence:

1) Using the overhead monitor the teacher will review possessive nouns.
              Possessive nouns show who or what owns or has something.
 

2) Explain to the class that they are to read each sentence and answer each question by identifying the possessive noun. They are then to type the answer in the red circles under each question.
           If they have trouble reading the sentences or the questions, they can highlight the ‘ear’ on the toolbar and it will be read to them. They will need to click on the sentence they want read.

3) Complete the first one as a class. Activity may be used as an independent activity.
