Overview:  This activity will enable the student to practice using the correct Irregular Verb by typing in a word that will complete each sentence correctly. Students will read each sentence and determine which word will correctly finish each sentence.

Lesson Sequence:

1) Using the overhead monitor the teacher will re- introduce the concept of irregular verbs.

2) Review that an irregular verb is a verb that does not use ‘ –ed’  at the end of a word to indicate the past tense.   For example:  go – went, do – did, say – said, and see – saw.  These are the irregular verbs we will be working on in this activity.
 

3) Read the directions, Type in the correct irregular verb to complete each sentence correctly. Review how to double click in the blank space in order to type in a word.

4) Complete the first one as a class. Activity may be use as an independent activity.
