Overview:   In this activity the students will identify proper nouns and drag them into a shopping cart shape.
 

Lesson Sequence:

1) Using the overhead monitor the teacher will review proper nouns.
              A proper noun is a noun that names a special person, place, or thing.
              A proper noun always begins with a capital letter.
 

2)    Read all the words, and explain that they are to identify the proper nouns and drag them to the shopping cart. Review that the students must double click on the words in order to drag them to the cart.

3) Complete the first one as a class. Activity may be used as an independent activity.
